Dear Parents and Students,
It is with great excitement that I welcome you to St-John Fisher Junior Elementary School for the 2021-22 school year! I look forward to coming back and getting to know all the new students and parents on our journey together.
I will be continuing to work on new initiatives and pursuing longstanding traditions that have become a part of what makes St-John- Fisher Jr. an incredible school (caring for the environment, peaceful school initiative, Holiday concert to name a few). Through it all, it is my belief that we should be teaching and modeling the values of honesty, kindness, compassion and empathy.
I am looking forward to seeing you all when school starts on August 31st. It should be noted that due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the 4th wave we will do our best to have a normal school entry and respecting preventative measure like social distancing and the wearing of masks. School masks are mandatory for Grade 1 and Grade 2 students and recommended for kindergarten when in school. As for transportation, all students must wear a mask on the school bus. Please note, that our school hours are different this year and we are now a late school start (9:05 a.m. is our morning bell and school starts at 9:15 a.m.). Please click here for our school hours.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns (firstname.lastname@example.org). Together we will create a safe and caring school where mutual respect is paramount.
On behalf of the St-John Fisher Jr. team, I wish you an exceptional school year!
